Outline Provisions
The Outline Provisions for the Organization of the Committees of Taiwan Technical Textiles Association(TTTA)
Article 1.
These outline provisions have been engendered in accordance with Article 23 of the statutes of TTTA.
Article 2.
Under TTTA are the Internal Affairs Committee, the Academic Committee, the International Affairs Committee, the Activity Committee and the Finance Committee. Other committees and task forces are to be created when deemed necessary. Responsibilities of all committees and task forces are regulated in line with respective attributes therein.
Internal Affairs Committee:
Responsibilities:This committee is in charge of planning for all internal affairs, promoting the goal of the committee, recruiting members and enhancing communication and interrelations between members.
Structure:This committee consists of one convener and four to eight additional members. The convener is nominated by the chairperson of the board, approved by the majority of the board of directors, and then commissioned. The additional members are nominated by the convener, approved by the chairperson of the board, and then commissioned. All members of the committee serve the same tenure as the directors and supervisory directors on the same term. Re-commission is permitted.
Functions:This committee¡¦s main functions are as follows:
1.Recruit members. Review qualifications of members and candidates for the committee¡¦s awards. The issuance of awards is to be regulated.
2.Compile the directory of members and promote communication and interrelations between members.
3.Administer member assembly meetings, board director meetings, elections and commissioning.

International Affairs Committee:
Responsibilities:This committee is in charge of planning for all of TTTA¡¦s international affairs and promoting exchange and cooperation between TTTA and relevant international organizations and individuals.
Structure:This committee consists of one convener and four to eight additional members. The convener is nominated by the chairperson of the board, approved by the majority of the board of directors, and then commissioned. The additional members are nominated by the convener, approved by the chairperson of the board, and then commissioned. All members of the committee serve the same tenure as the directors and supervisory directors on the same term. Re-commission is permitted.

2.Invite and receive international organizations and specialists and coordinate with the Activity Committee in sponsoring exchange activities.
3.Plan and conduct international exchange affairs.

The additional members are nominated by the convener, approved by the chairperson of the board, and then commissioned. All members of the committee serve the same tenure as the directors and supervisory directors on the same term. Re-commission is permitted.

Finance Committee:

The additional members are nominated by the convener, approved by the chairperson of the board, and then commissioned. All members of the committee serve the same tenure as the directors and supervisory directors on the same term. Re-commission is permitted.

Article 3.
Resolutions by all committees require approval by the majority of majority attendance and presented to the board of directors before implementation. Matters of exigency can be presented to the chairperson of the board for approval for provisional implementation but must be approved by the majority at the following board director meeting for the implementation to continue.
Article 4.
All committees are internal organizations to fulfill functions ruled by the statutes of TTTA, to execute matters delegated by the board of directors and to conduct outbound documentation under the title of TTTA.
Article 5.
Funds for all committees are to be budgeted and coordinated by TTTA.
Article 6.
The convener of each committee is to convene and preside all meetings of each committee. In case of absence the convener is to designate a substitute to preside the meeting.
Article 7.
All conveners at the notice of the board of directors are to attend TTTA¡¦s board meetings and present work reports to be recorded in the proceedings.
Article 8.
Any relevant details these provisions have failed to contain are to be administered in accordance with the statutes of TTTA and related regulations.
Article 9.
These provisions have been approved by the board of directors of TTTA and implemented. All amendments are to go through the same procedures.
